So on my desktop I stick with using firefox4 (netbook=chromium)

I’ve been using the 4betaX of firefox for quite some time now, and for it’s been damn stable (still a fucking memory hog, but meh)
on my main desktop with a quadcore+4GB ram

I have to say, I love the tab grouping of firefox4beta8

Firefox4beta8 (click for full size)

At first I thought I was going to hate that feature, but I’ve actually been using it

though, the thing is a fucking memory hog >.<

See, thats a lot of of memory o_o   firefox is using about 23% of my ram, (using 942MB of my 4GB)
if I used a lot of memory normally this would bother me, but in total I’m only using 1.5GB of my 4GB so I’m not too worried..

Pioneer One Ep2

Pioneer One

Pioneer One

A mysterious spaceship enters Earth’s atmosphere, spreading radiation over hundreds of miles of rural Montana. Officials are quick to bring up the possibility of a terrorist attack, specifically the detonation of a dirty bomb, but an investigation of the debris in Canada uncovers a live human being in a Soviet space suit in an unstable condition. A note handwritten in Russian found at the crash site says that the man is the child of cosmonauts living at a base on Mars.

Yay! Months after episode 1 was released, episode 2 is  out :D

The show still continues to grasp my interest and entertain me.

Gentoo On my Asus eee pc 1000ha

So my eeepc 1000ha has just been kinda laying around not doing all that much since i got my new netbook, the 1201pn eeepcgentoo

so.. i decided to put it to use while having a great learning experience, i installed gentoo

Linux GenNetToo 2.6.35-gentoo-r12 #2 SMP Sat Dec 4 01:48:12 EST 2010 i686 Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU N270 @ 1.60GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux

after hours of fuck ups, and hours of compiling , i got it :D    I’ll update this post later with details, but honestly you just gotta follow the gentoo handbook and this wiki page about the 1000ha

I highly recommended installing gentoo at least once, I learned quite a bit in the process.
